Ridgefield, Connecticut a small community in the rolling hills of Connecticut boasts of only a population of 7,276. This peaceful little community is near Redding, Connecticut makes a very nice place for retirement. The population growth has only been around .08% in the past few years while the median age is 42 years old. The community does boast of having excellent schools for the younger folks, which makes it one of the family places to live. The area hosts ten schools in all.
The population scale shows that there are 49.3% males and 50.7% females from that 35.4% are single while a hefty 64.6% of the population is married. The hot summer days of July average 84°F, which gives way for a nice swim in the beautiful lake that resides high in the hills around the area.
Real Estate hereis very low the average home ranges around $814,300 and the value remains primarily the same. The real estate market in and round the area has fallen a lot over the past few years. Neither the buyer nor the seller fined that property rates have change very much. The buyer is very lucky in that the interest rates have stayed the same so buying a home is not that expensive. Ridgefield offers a lot of land for development, which makes a great investment for a primary investor. The ability to build newer homes would make living in Ridgefield more accessible and probably attract many of the younger generation.
The real estate market here should start to be much more valuable as the population grows and the malls enter the community. The young people who grow up in the area make a difference in the demands of the neighborhood. Presently there is an unemployment rate of only 5% of the community so the majority of the people employed. The real estate agents find that property value has not changed over the past few years actually making sales of home a lot easier.
